Let's Get Haunted | Podcast Review
Let’s Get Haunted is the comedic, investigative paranormal podcast you never know you needed in your life.
I stumbled upon Let’s Get Haunted on Spotify one day and something about it instantly drew me. I guess it’s because you’d say I've got a pretty haunted life myself so hearing other’s hauntings makes me feel just that bit better about the ghosts in my cellar.
The podcast stars Nat and Ally who delve into the weird and wacky each episode, ultimately finding out that everything is haunted.
Or to put it into their own words: “Welcome to the only investigative journalism podcast about shit that may or may not have even happened in the first place.”
If you’re a sceptic, this isn’t the place for you. There’s no room for scepticism on Let’s Get Haunted. Nat and Ally choose to believe, even with the most bizarre of cases.
This being an American podcast and myself being British means that even the supposedly well-known stories and facts are new to me. But even the stories you think already know go deeper than you could have imagined. (Who knew the Mothman was a hunk and a bad omen?)
Perhaps one of my favourite parts on this podcast is when they take the seemingly ‘normal’ stories and blow the lid right off it. It was aliens... Or ghosts… or ALIEN GHOSTS.
While the stories themselves can be pretty freaky, the way these two host the show makes you feel like you’re just a part of a conversation with friends. Especially when you get a palette cleanser from the paranormal to take a journey into their own haunted lives.
But take it from me, do NOT listen to this podcast walking alone down country lanes in the evening. You’ll have yourself convinced the sheep are watching you or the one car you see is about to jump you.
Don't know where to start? Check out my favourite episodes that are the epitome of Let's Get Haunted.
